Hello! I hope it's okay to reach out here directly; I'm planning to launch a game dev course and I was curious if it's okay to use your assets for a sample project that'd get created as part of the course material?
For sure, that’s totally fine, u can even sell the course with the assets(just not the assets themselves). Mainly just credit where it’s due, but tbh nothing is stopping you from just not crediting at all. I don’t really care.
This art looks very good. I plan on using it in my latest Godot project as placeholder assets. Thank you for sharing this assets with the itch community.

And the reason why I responded here is because I was using your video as the basis for my design. I veered off quite a bit, but you can see the parity most in the first level. I did this to practice making a game with my own engine.

By the way, the grass background reminds me of the scrolling level in Super Mario World.
Yes I used that one as a base and my own very similar version. This pack is directly inspired by the mario world game on the snes

If yes, you should add the license into metadata for the asset packs:
"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art

The quality on these assets are next level! Honestly some of the better Mario/Mega man style assets I have ever seen.
They feel quite unique but still familiar.
